My passion for MUSIC

Hey guys,
Recently i've been kinda busy with a few stuffs:
1.Homework
2.Tuition
3.Musical performance in school

so yeah! i've been really dead tired this whole week.. well mostly coz i did other stuffs after those 3.. anyway!
it's my first time playing music in my school like just practicing or performing. Ever since i came to this school in form 2 i always wanted to be a part of the music club, like getting access to all the musical instruments in the Music Room and stuff. BTW. The music room in my school is kinda awesome coz it has 5 acoustic guitars, more than 10 keyboards, a electrical piano, a drum set, a bass guitar, an electric guitar and violins and well all the rest are orchestra stuff. SO WOO i was so excited the first time i saw all this. But getting permission to use the room whenever was kinda hard.

This year, i joined the music club and i got to know cikgu hapipah by going to music camp and stuff. So they saw that i could play and ever since, cikgu hapipah has been asking me to play for the school and stuff. And it has been a really really fun experience so far.. and also tiring!

I wanna share about my history in music. I actually started off with the piano when i was about 8 years old i think. My sister, Melissa had already picked up piano by then and was pretty good at it. My sister and brother both had started learning music because in our church there were these kor kor's and jie jie's who could play drums and piano. They were inspired and started off there! So one day my dad brought home a keyboard! It technically belonged to my sister but we just shared it. It wasn't a really good keyboard but i still loved it! I would learn the songs in the piano by seeing the small little screen which would show what keys to press. It was really slow but i was determine to show my family that i could play the piano :)  One night i just sat at the keyboard and practice the whole night until i finally memorized and manage to play the song, it was a really great sense of achievement. Ever since then, i started to love music and over the years i picked up drums through my brother, Benson and then guitar afterwards.

Over the years i have been using my musical talent to serve God by playing for the praise and worship sessions in my church. Because i believe that these are the gifts that He gave me and should be used back to glorify Him! Up to today i still play all 3 of the instruments.. i still have not mastered all of the instruments.. but im learning slowly. And this experience of learning is honestly really tiring, painful, frustrating but in the end its ALWAYS WORTH IT :)  To me, this life would be less colourful without music. For music expresses emotion and feelings and is also sometimes a stress-reliever ;)  SO i strongly suggest to you to pick up an instrument and start today! You don't have to straight away buy an instrument. you can test out the instruments and see which ones you like! For example, u can use places like the Music Room in ur school or maybe in your church.
